aHHH

I am happy to say that my poison ivy is finally over!
I won't torture you with pictures.  It has only taked 3 rounds of Prednidoze to make it fade ( I am now on step down for 3 more days)

Things I learned.
Posion Ivy can grow in trees, hence end up in your bark mulch delivery
Day time TV is bad
You can read yourself into numbness
I scratch in my sleep
The ooze from posion ivy is NOT contagious, but is gross

I was not able to Quilt for almost 4 weeks, but over the weekend I was able to get caught up on my schedule and have some fun

Sorry about the poor photo on this one. Way struggling to get a picture before the customer took their quilt

POSION IVY

Life has thrown a monkey wrench at me.

My old friend posion ivy has come to visit again.  As a child I got a severe case of posion ivy every summer/fall.  It was always very bad.  I would get shots for it and still get it.

My husband and I did landscaping, trimming, weeding and bark mulch over the Memorial Day weekend.  Monday afternoon the itch started, thought nothing of it, bug bites. I had not had posion ivy in over 18 years.  Tuesday moring I was sure my nemesis was here in force. One doctor visit and 3 prescriptions later; we are down for the count for the rest of the week. Needless to say, no quilting was going on.  Nothing to make me sweat or get warm. God, was I ITCHY. I am still ITCHY; but on the mend.  Needless to say my husband has lost his landspacing help.
